Semi Pendant es una lámpara única, basada en dos cuartos de círculo unidos, espalda con espalda. Su distintiva pantalla de metal esmaltado en forma de arco crea una luz difusa y cónica, ideal para una mesa de comedor o una encimera de cocina.

Con su ligereza de formas, su diseño único y atemporal y su gama de colores y tamaños, Semi Pendant es extremadamente versátil y se adapta perfectamente tanto a espacios privados como públicos. 

La lámpara Semi Pendant fue diseñada en 1968 como resultado de la colaboración creativa entre Claus Bonderup y Torsten Thorup.

En reacción contra las formas orgánicas suaves, de las luminarias del momento, Bonderup y Thorup querían crear una lámpara que incorporara líneas nítidas y limpias y una forma geométrica. Su diseño se presentó a un concurso de la Real Academia Danesa de Bellas Artes, Escuela de Arquitectura, y ganó el primer premio. 

En la década de 1980, la lámpara alcanzó un gran éxito y se convirtió, en aquella época, en el diseño danés más vendido, ganando reconocimiento mundial y un estatus icónico.

She laughs at the antics of the ladybug on each page and loves that there are different animals hidden in with the bugs. Really can't say enough good things about this book. My only caution is that there aren't really a lot of words, so if you aren't comfortable ad-libbing or making up stories you may find it a bit boring. But if you make it interactive it's really fun!

This book is super cute and makes bugs interesting with it's colorful pages and different big varieties. The book rhymes throughout the pages and it's so cute and almost reminds me of song that could have sung by the "Animaniacs" (my age is showing lol). In one of the pics I show the cover damaged but that's from my son chewing on the book. Just because it's a board book doesn't meant it's exempt from damage, just makes it last a little longer than a paperback. I also REALLY like that there is a page that lists the bugs seen along with their names which is helpful in teaching your little one! My son enjoyed this beautiful book. :)
