BRAAS KAYS & Co SIGNAL BOX DRUM CLOCKA Great Western Railway brass cased drum clock supplied by Kays 7 Co of Worcester, this fine timepiece was manufactured in Paris around 1880 and the G. W. R. supplied them to most of their signal boxes. This example has received a full strip down, clean and full service, additionally a new Swiss made platform escapement has been fitted. The case ,back cover and clock plate are all stamped with matching numbers 4117 and the winder has been modified by

The case ,back cover and clock plate are all stamped with matching numbers 4117 and the winder has been modified by the G.W.R. Reading clock department. The enamel face has hairline cracks commensurate with its 130 plus years!
