A beautiful and cleverly designed piece, suitable for men or for women. Circa 1890 1900. Unmarked, the head tests as 18ct gold. The pin tests as 15ct gold. The claw measures approximately 14. 1mm (L) x 7. 1mm (W). The total length measures approximately 67mm. The approximate weight is 2. 1 grams.

A fantastic late Victorian stick or tie pin, the head shaped as a bird's talon clutching an egg (represented by a pearl), crafted in 18ct and 15ct gold. A beautiful and cleverly designed piece, suitable for men or for women.

Circa 1890-1900.

Unmarked, the head tests as 18ct gold. The pin tests as 15ct gold.
