When a family buys a house in a struggling town for just one dollar, they're hoping to start over -- but have they traded one set of problems for another? Twelve-year-old Lowen Grover, a budding comic-book artist, is still reeling from the shooting death of his friend Abe when he stumbles across an article about a former mill town giving away homes for just one dollar. It not only seems like the perfect escape from Flintlock and all of the awful memories associated with the city, but an opportunity for his mum to run her very own business. Fortunately, his family is willing to give it a try. But is the Dollar Program too good to be true? The homes are in horrible shape, and the locals are less than welcoming. Will Millville and the dollar house be the answer to the Grovers' troubles? Or will they find they've traded one set of problems for another? From the author of Small as an Elephant and Paper Things comes a heart-tugging novel about guilt and grief, family and friendship, and, above all, community.Binding Type: Hardcover

Does exactly what you need it for.
I like these adapters.
Some pros:
* There's a blue light to show that power is coming to the adapter (great to ensure you've plugged it in correctly)
* The gap at the bottom of the plug ensures that it works with a phone in a case. (I tested it on an iPhone 15 pro max)
* The connectors are solid good click when connected.
* The housing is solid aluminum (no flex or seams, etc)
* There is a little label on each that shows how much power or data can go through it.
Use case:
* Allowing you to use your phone on your bed while the phone is sitting on your chest (and still plugged in)
* For the USB-C to female USB-A female adapter, the page shows that you can use this to connect a flash drive or a regular USB-A cable with the other end going to your peripheral (like a keyboard or game controller)
Overall, this is a great item to own in your gadget bag.

They work.
They work fine for my sort of "specialized?" use. By relieving the strain on the laptops USB ports. Hopefully, prolonging their lifespan.
Do wish they would make the edges and corners a bit rounded.

I can use my remote again
Style: 1 to 1 IR Repeater
I added a center channel speaker, and it was partially blocking the remote sensor. This solution works like a charm and has an easy setup. One end points towards the existing IR, and the other end goes where you are going to point the remote to.
The only suggestion is to include a USB connector with the product, so I don't need to find one.

Very good signal repeater
Style: 1 to 1 IR Repeater
Fantastic product! I have a center channel for my surround sound that blocks the infrared sensor on my Sony Bravia TV that never works. I always have to get up to turn the TV on or off as well as other functions. So I purchased this product and it worked like a charm. Very simple to install, took less than 5 minutes . I didn’t have no compatibility issues. It was plugged play . Simply stick on the transmitting sensor by the receiving sensor on the TV and then the extended sensor for receiving from your remote control put where you would like it, lastly plug in the USB plug into any 5V power block and you’re done. Now I have no issues with range with controlling my TV, which is great.!👏🏼. Definitely a good product. I would highly recommend…

Easy to Set up
Style: 1 to 1 IR Repeater
Works great. Have Sonos playbar mounted behind TV and it does not support eARC, only IR, for use with AppleTV remote. This solved problem.
