Lillidale Sweet Itch Lotion is a soothing application containing blended Neem Oil for use on the mane and tail of horses as an aid in the prevention of sweet itch.
Use to soothe scurfy skin especially in the summer months in the presence of irritation caused by insects.
Ingredients: Neem Oil, Tea Tree Oil, White oil
Directions: Patch test before use. Apply the lotion in advance at the start of the season when the midge Culicoides becomes active (April).
First application: Apply liberally to the affected areas including the mane and tail.
Subsequent applications: Top up once or twice daily with a smaller amount of lotion throughout the spring, summer and early autumn. After shampooing the mane and tail, a heavy application should be made again. Horses which are prone to sweet itch should be stabled if possible at down and dusk.
