TIG welded aluminum plate tanks that incorporate three multi-directional vanes that efficiently direct air flow through the entire core for maximum cooling. The Bladerunner intercooler also comes with 4 1/8 in. pre-tapped ports for easy gauge installation as well as other auxiliary input options. Tested at 200psi which is perfect for the high boost applications. In recent testing the Bladerunner intercooler produced a 200 deg. temperature drop and a 100 deg. EGT drop as well as increasing air flow by 30 percent. Dont waste your time and money on modified factory intercooler. Works perfect for BMW S63 engine.
I used this to change the oil on my BMW M8 with the S63 engine. It was a perfect fit. It extended far enough onto the filter housing to be quite secure with no risk of slipping off and stripping the housing. It was snug on the housing and did not bind up due to having a loose fit. The tool feels well-built and I suspect it will outlive me given my occasional personal use. It would still probably hold up well even for daily shop use as long as it was not abused (repeatedly dropped, slammed around, etc).
