This book is a recounting of some of these stories, from various sources, both old and of a more recent vintage. They are records from the lips and letters of Skye and Hebridean folk who had personal experience or knowledge of them. In addition these stories give a fascinating glance into the life of Skye and other Hebridean communities in an age long past.
