Forty-four years later, when Mahon retired as Chairman of that same committee, the committee was debating funds to purchase a bomber capable of traveling at 2,000 miles an hour. With a career spanning nearly a half century--spanning almost the entire Cold War--Mahon grew from a West Texas country lawyer to one of the most powerful men in the US House of Representatives, serving twenty-two consecutive terms from 1935-1978. During his time in Congress, Mahon worked easily with the giants of government, enjoying the friendship and confidence of seven of the eight presidents with whom he served. He worked just as comfortably with his constituents in the Nineteenth Congressional District of Texas. Mahon served on several Congressional committees, but it is through his service on the House Appropriations Committee and the Subcommittee on Defense Appropriations that he had the greatest national impact. He often bragged that under his leadership the Subcommittee on Defense Appropriations was the most non-partisan committee in Congress. Get the job done & adhere well
I ordered these by mistake once when trying to order more of the normal sized and mini ones from this brand. I love their other patches and thought these would be great to have on hand too. Sometimes I feel like these don’t seem as effective as the typical 12mm patches from most brands regardless of the type of blemish I put it on. But I think they get the job done. They definitely stay on, but I prefer patches with the visible circle in the middle and transparent edges. These are nearly invisible and smooth though so easy to cover with makeup if needed.

The perfect toy for dogs!
Style: The Duo
This is perfect when you have 2 dogs who love to play Fetch! They no longer have to chase after the same ball! The balls that come with it are very sturdy, and the launcher sends both balls far enough away so that both dogs get plenty of exercise. It’s definitely worth the price!

PERFECT RETRIEVING TOY

You can barely whip it and it sails far and fast. This is the perfect retrieving toy for my GSP. She's used to average and we now have a small yard, so the dog park is where she gets to run hard and fast. You can also throw tennis balls with it, which is a plus for when her sister steals her ball.
