Under the stewardship of Sub Pop and Vagrant records, Oregon's Blitzen Trapper is 8 studio albums deep into the a successful career as a modern folk-rock band, led by Eric Earley, dubbed by Paste as the 'Tom Petty of the Northwest.' Earley's songs read like stories you could've sworn you've heard before, and his band's straightforward and every-so-slightly anthemic landscapes make for nearly universal likability - a real feat in these days of niche tastes and fragmented genres. Blitzen Trapper brought their (quite welcome!) Pacific Northwestern sensibilities, along with swampy and distinctly Floridian opener Lauris Vidal to whet our collective whistle, to the Blue Room Stage on March 16, 2016. The live record that resulted, was cut direct-to-acetate on Third Man's 1955 Scully lathe.

Perfect Purchase

Wonderful. Perfect size for little hands. Colorful. Caught my grandson’s attention as soon as my son unwrapped it. A good number of choices, so it’s easy to keep my grandson’s attention for over. 1/2 hour.
I’d say that’s terrific for a little guy.
All in all, this is the best set of books I’ve bought. Money well spent! He’ll probably wear them out before a little brother or sister comes along 😂

Perfect for first baby books.
Format: Hardcover
Loved these for my first daughter a few years ago and they definitely got their use. I wanted to make sure I got a new set for my newborn. They are perfect for learning all the basics with large pictures that help them associate with the labeled word. Easy to travel with boards books that baby’s can hold as they learn to grip items.

I bought this set of books for my friend's little girl.She's five years old, my friend.The parents of this little girl were very happy with the set.Their child absolutely loved the characters in this set of books. I wish this company came up with more sets like this.It would be wonderful for the little ones in the family

Realistic pictures, Good for vocabulary learning

Small and not very durable, but realistic and great for learning vocabulary. My 1yr old likes looking at the pictures and can handle the books well since they are small. If left unsupervised with them, they’d get destroyed. But it’s a good learning activity to do together. Would be nice if they were a little more durable but hey, they were cheap enough. I would pay more for a higher quality set.

Durable, engaging board books for little ones

I’ve been reading these board books with my toddler for a few weeks, and they’re perfect for little kids just starting to explore books. The pages are sturdy and easy for small hands to turn, and the bright colors and simple text keep my child engaged.
What I liked: durable construction, easy to handle, fun illustrations
What could be better: some pages could have slightly more variety in text for repeated readings
Overall, these board books are a great value and make story time simple and enjoyable for toddlers.
