Connect the rear upper shock mounts and reinforce the chassis on your 1978-1987 G-Body with a rear shock tower brace from BMR Suspension. BMRs Rear Strut Tower Brace (STB462) firms up the G-Body chassis by adding loads of strength and support to the factory rear frame that tends to flex, even with mild amounts of torque and horsepower. The BMR Rear Strut Tower Brace is constructed from lightweight DOM steel tubing and laser cut 3/l6-inch steel plate to provide maximum strength without adding unnecessary bulk. BMR has designed the STB462 for all performance applications. This two-point design improves handling by solidly linking the rear shock towers, adding strength to the entire rear chassis and suspension. BMRs STB462 Shock Tower Brace includes all grade 8 hardware needed for installation and is 100% bolt-in, meaning they can be easily installed with simple hand tools with no welding or cutting required. When performance is a must, rely on BMR Suspension! BMR Suspensions STB462 Rear Strut Tower Brace is available in black hammertone and red powdercoat for long-lasting good looks. Can’t beat MANN quality
Bought to replace the filters on my 2015 bmw x5 as there was a musty smell from ac. Old filters were another junk company that fit very loosely. I was impressed by the quality and how secure the MANN filters locked into the housing; musty smell all gone now! Easy 10min replacement job, comes with VERY detailed instructions for the less mechanically inclined

Great product
Fits our 2012 X5d perfectly. Do yourself a favor and youtube the process for replacing these. You'll see it's well worth doing yourself rather than paying a shop that charges a BMW premium on everything.
Also something I learned recently... this is a low cost high charge item at the mechanic. A lot of times when they suggest replacing these it's because they just tick the box and don't actually look at them. We had our mechanic admit this on a recent service where it was suggested to replace, when we had just done it ourselves in April.
