The Men's Trauma Manual is a treatment manual designed for men with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or Complex PTSD (severe childhood trauma or abuse), who want to understand and gain control of their symptoms. The manual consists of 12 sessions, each dedicated to a particular trauma symptom, such as nightmares, flashbacks, avoidance, dissociation, hyperarousal, affective lability, impulsivity, numbing, self-injury, addictions, sexual victimization and menÕs issues. Each session also teaches a cognitive behavioral skill, including grounding, rescripting nightmares, behavior scripts, progressive muscle relaxation, anger management skills, positive distractions, and identifying and expressing feelings, which are designed to help patients deal with trauma symptoms. The Men's Trauma Manual is a part of the Syndrome Specific Group Therapy (SSGT) Program for serious mental illness (SMI).

It is a 2-for-one light up feature so we love the flashing lights and if she drops it in the snow after those lights stop, we can still find it because of the strong glow that gets its charge from the flashing LED lights. Our first one lasted a few years, we lost it on a trip so now back for our second one so we can keep the night time fetch going! She is a golden retriever for size reference. Any bigger of a breed and I would worry it might be too small for her mouth. It’s a bit smaller than a tennis ball. Just don’t make the same mistake I did and let them have it in the house at night, she walked up to my bedside while I was asleep one night and squeezed it to activate it. Those lights are so bright it was a rude awakening!
