This protector offering cup set, Serkyem, is made with pure copper in the style of Indian copper craftsmanship and design. A Serkyem offering, also known as a Dharmapala offering, is used for ritual offerings to Protector deities and guardians. The Serkyem consists of two pieces: a chalice and a basin for overflowing. It is most commonly filled with tea, wine, and other tsok substances, and offered to dharma protectors for the continuous protection and spread of dharma teachings.
