Mrs Blackwell has long believed that a good reading session deserves a cozy uniform. A devoted fan of the classic long-sleeve, long-leg pyjama set, she couldn’t resist the opportunity to create something a little special and indulgent. These have pockets, and a waist band that is half elasticated through the back, and tie waisted at the front so you can achieve the perfect fit.
While the idea of Reading Pyjamas began with a sense of fun, the pyjamas themselves are anything but frivolous. Crafted with care from pure hand block printed cotton, this rich brown jungle print is exclusive in New Zealand to Mrs Blackwell’s Village Bookshop. The 100% cotton fabric is soft, breathable, and light against the skin - designed for those slow mornings and early nights when a good book keeps you company!
The silhouette is relaxed and easy, made for curling up on the sofa or slipping into bed “for just one more chapter”.
Each set comes tucked inside a complimentary fabric envelope, finished with a shell button - cut off the small size tag and repurpose this as book envelope.
Made in India in a limited run.
