As with Saigon Supersound Vol. 1, (SSS 001CD/LP, 2017) this new volume digs deeper to share the beautiful music of a short but significant period in Vietnam's history. Much like the country itself, the music of Vietnam has endured many twists. As the result of the Geneva Accords in 1954, Vietnam was divided into two. From the North, the Nationalist forces fought to reunite Vietnam as a Communist state, while American troops backed the government of the South. This caused a mass migration of Northerners to the South, which included many Tân Nhạc (modern music) singers and songwriters. Tân Nhạc continued to develop in the South, moving on from the influences of it's main inspiration, French music. In the North, the Resistance music, the so-called Nhạc Đỏ (Red Music), promoted socialism, patriotism and anti-capitalism and was the only genre allowed on national radio. Between 1954-1960, the theme of (quê hương), or hometown, was a main inspiration for many songwriters such as Hoàng Thi Thơ, Lam Phương and Nguyễn Hữu Thiết. The 9th track on the compilation, "Thôn Trăng Mở Hội Trăng Tròn" showcases a variety of images often described in this genre: the harvest moon, playful children, an old mother. Every recording made in this era is then an organic combination of human experiences, communications and uniqueness. In 1965, the first American troops landed in Vietnam, bringing with them the musical influences of the likes of Beatles, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, and Elvis Presley. The Vietnamese people quickly integrated it into the repertoire with the hope of further diversifying the music of Vietnam. Constantly changing and learning from different cultures, the modern music of Vietnam cuts a window into the soul of a Vietnamese person and the country's history as a whole. With that, the hope is that Saigon Supersound Vol. 2 would take you on a trip back to the unique atmosphere of Saigon through the different palettes of music that this beautiful place offers. Good and comfortable toe socks

First time wearing toe socks. I bought them to help prevent athlete's foot between the toes, which I'm prone to getting. Being a guy, I did have some reservations because I thought they'd look silly or whatever but I went ahead and bought these since they're going inside shoes anyway. I'm so glad I did! My only complaint is that the length of the toes are a bit short. In shoes I wear a men's 11 and I ordered 10-12 in these socks. The overall length is perfect but the toes are a bit too short and won't go all the way back to my webbing in the 1st and 2nd interspaces. The other toes and interspaces are fine. It's a minor complaint and not enough to remove a star.
Overall I'm very satisfied with the product. I've suffered from Morton's Neuroma in both feet and various interspaces all of my life. I think I've finally found the solution. I've been walking 4.4 miles a day for over a month now. Something I've never been able to do. I wear these ZAKASA toe socks, along with the Dr. Wolf orthotics which have good arch support and a metatarsal arch just behind the metatarsal heads. I also wear the Bronax shoes which have a wide forefoot to let the toes spread out. The combination of the shoes, socks, and orthotics has worked wonders on my feet! No athlete's foot either! I highly recommend these ZAKASA toe socks. I've bought two 5 packs already. No regrets!

Great quality and price per pair

Had these about 6 weeks now and am very pleased with how they've held up so far. I've gone through 2 other brands before this and will be sticking with them as long as they continue to hold up. Seams are still good, toe hasn't worn through at the toenail, no visible fading/wear on the pads of the feet.
They are still annoying to straighten out after washing like all other toed socks, but the fit has held up and elastic is still snug and comfortable after daily wear (I did buy 2 packages, so they do get rotation before being worn)

Good for wearing with Vibram Fivefinger shoes

They are good, comfy socks that fit well on a size 43 eu (9.5-10 US) foot in medium.
Be aware that these are the same socks that you get when you order Caidenieu toe socks and dozens of other listings as well. So just buy the cheapest ones you can get. They come in the same bag with the same cards and everything. I wear them with my vibram fivefinger shoes very comfortably.

Great socks but overly snug

Socks fit great. Very comfortable. The elastic around the ankles gets tight and uncomfortable as the day goes on though. Durable after many washes and they do not shrink. Colors don’t fade. They keep the toes warm and separated, which provides some bunion pain relief.
