- Bellam Gavvalu or Teepi Gavvalu are the traditional Andhra sweet-snack food that brings glory to festive occasions. Sweet shells are the pseudonym for deep-fried sweet and crispy Gavvalu made of wheat and rice flour and spread with jaggery syrup that is blended with the flavoring of cardamom powder.
- Bellam Gavvalu is deep-fried to crispy brown colored sweet in freshly refined sunflower oil, which will never be reused in the food production process. Favorite toy.
Seems to be of good quality. There are probably a dozen different name brands for these balls. Our puppy loves these. Our son’s 90 pound golden lab has had one for a couple years. He has his outside and it’s a very similar design. Although not the same manufacturer.
