The canopy, in the traditional bell shape, is crafted from a deep black polyester fabric with a fine weave. The frame features 10 very strong, oversized ribs. The handle and shaft are made from a single piece of Manila cane. The extremely sturdy and robust shaft, with a diameter of 22 mm, also allows it to be used as a walking stick. All the technical details that are usually visible are covered with fabric and are therefore hidden from view. No plastic parts are used in this umbrella.
