Lapis Hoop EarringsOur Lapis Hoop Earrings are lightweight, casual, and secure. They will add a fun pop of color to your lobes for all your daily adventures! Size: about 7 8" in total length. These natural lapis lazuli gemstones are a beautiful dark denim blue, with some lighter blue, white, and gray variations. They are set on my version of a "hoop" ear wire that latches in the back. WHAT IS GOLD FILLED?
14kt gold filled is a layer of solid 14kt gold (gold alloy) bonded to a jeweler's brass core.
Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating - Gold-filled jewelry has 100x more gold alloy than gold plated and because that layer is so much thicker, it means gold-filled jewelry lasts longer and stands up to wear and tear better than gold plated.
