A striking and functional example of British mid-century design, this oak chest of drawers from the Concord range was designed by renowned duo John and Sylvia Reid for Stag Furniture in the 1960s. With clean lines, minimalist handles, and warm oak tones, the piece epitomizes the timeless utility of modernist design.

It features a practical configuration of six drawers—four smaller ones for accessories or undergarments and two deeper drawers for larger items. 

The chest has undergone careful refurbishment, including sympathetic restoration to the top and light, professional sanding to the sides and drawer fronts. It has been finished with an oak-toned wax to protect and enhance the grain.
The piece is now in very good condition, with solid drawers that run smoothly and are fully functional, ready for everyday use. The chest does have some light, age-appropriate wear. Perfect for a mid-century inspired bedroom or to add warm, retro texture to a modern interior.
