Six Questions Your Art Recovery Technologies Franchise Financial Model Must Answer

We built this financial model using deep research into specialized restoration services and multi-unit economics. The pre-populated data includes a Year 1 revenue target of $458,000 and a 7% royalty structure, but you can defintely edit every cell to match your specific territory and local market demand.

When will this unit turn a profit?

Restoration service franchise profitability usually hits its stride in the second year. While Year 1 shows a -$26,000 EBITDA during the ramp-up, Year 2 jumps to $91,000 in earnings as you move past the initial 8-month breakeven point in August 2026.

Improve Unit Profitability

  • Optimize chemical usage rates
  • Cross-train technicians for concierge
  • Increase high-margin storage volume
[dynamic_pic9]

What is the total investment?

To get this unit off the ground, you will need approximately $300,000 in initial capital. This covers the $48,000 franchise fee, $80,000 in leasehold improvements for a secure facility, and $70,000 for specialized restoration equipment and climate-controlled transport.

Primary Capital Uses

  • Leasehold Improvements: $80,000
  • Restoration Equipment: $70,000
  • Initial Franchise Fee: $48,000
  • Climate Controlled Van: $45,000
[dynamic_pic10]

What is my expected return?

The model projects an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 2.57% with a 5-year payback period. While the initial return seems modest, the Year 5 EBITDA of $521,000 shows significant cash flow potential once the unit reaches maturity and stabilizes its local insurance referral network.

Key Investor Metrics

  • Internal Rate of Return: 2.57%
  • Payback Period: 5 Years
  • Return on Equity: 0.84
[dynamic_pic11]

How much revenue is the break-even?

You need to reach break-even by August 2026, roughly 8 months after launch. The primary driver for this disaster recovery business model is covering $8,900 in monthly fixed costs, including $5,000 for a secure facility and $1,200 for specialized property insurance.

Reach Break-Even Faster

  • Secure insurance adjuster referrals
  • Bundle concierge and storage
  • Monitor monthly utility waste
[dynamic_pic12]

What is the lowest cash point?

Your lowest cash point hits $762,000 in July 2026 as you finalize the facility build-out and hire your core team. Maintaining a solid buffer is vital to handle the timing gap often found in insurance claim mitigation revenue, where payouts can lag behind the actual restoration work.

Protect Your Cash

  • Phase storage system installs
  • Negotiate tiered rent start
  • Delay non-essential IT spend
[dynamic_pic13]

How do scenarios impact results?

In a high-growth scenario, hitting $1.43M in Year 5 revenue significantly boosts your store-level margin. This high-net-worth service franchise relies on high average tickets; a 10% drop in volume can delay your payback period past the 5-year mark, so local marketing execution is non-negotiable.

Hit the High Case

  • Target affluent zip codes
  • Host gallery owner seminars
  • Maximize technician billable hours

Great buy, especially in its price range and perhaps even beyond
Color: A-Silver
Hope not to jinx it and have to change this review in six months but I'm extremely pleased with this machine. I've gone through two DeLonghis that lasted me each 4-5 years and I've liked them a lot, but both have eventually leaked and had quirks that were never ever answered/remedied by their customer service. I bought this Casabrews on spec, after looking through all sorts of alternatives, even hand models. I read through customer reviews, including the negative ones complaining about noise, its weight (or, rather lack of), claims over shoddy materials (its plastic components), alleged issues with its wand and basket, the quality of its shots, and so on. I was concerned about buying a product from a relatively new company with a short track record. But, OTOH, there were some very positive, persuasive reviews online. I'm from a coffee-producing nation and have more of it in my veins than blood so it's an absolute daily must-have that an increasingly leaking DeLonghi wasn't going to provide for long so I was facing an emergency. That this model was on sale at Amazon was a welcome incentive since, by the same token that I know what I like in coffee and scoff at the pretentious, opinionated coffee snobishness that too often characterizes conversations over it in the US, I've never been persuaded by the fancy-schmancy high-end, pocket-gouging machines on the market. While I've only had it for several weeks, I'm delighted with it. It's way faster than my old DeLonghis. I love that I don't have to hover over it watching to make sure it doesn't overflow because it turns itself off--and while I'm perfectly happy with the amount I'm getting without tinkering with it, it's programmable for longer shots. It's relatively quieter--noise complaints are likely from new users of espresso machines unused to their noise. It is lighter than my old machines, but the good news is that the basket fit loosens with use and a light hand on top of it solves the issue. The quibble about the basket falling from the wand seems to be more, again, about unobservant users who don't notice their design and the notch that locks the basket in place. It's also a preferable design than the wire in the DeLonghis, which would get loose and end up in our countertop compost bin when shaking out the puck. I even prefer the wetter pucks of used coffee it produces because they're way easier to scoop out of the basket than the DeLonghi's rock hard ones (even bent one of my demitasse spoons once). And, most importantly, the coffee is ABSOLUTELY FINE, even preferable to what I'd been getting from my old machines. And, hey, if it happens to have a short life, I'll just return and revise my rating and review.

Buono...squisito!
Color: Sterling Silver, Color: Sterling Silver
Arrive and packaged very well. It is lightweight...unsure if it's metal or plastic finished to look like metal...my guess is that "parts" are the latter because the knob for the froth/steam is plastic. Nonetheless, it is well made. Moreover, the price point makes it clear it can't be a premium expresso machine. I realize this doesn't sound like a great review of this product but on the contrary it is meant to say that - it is a quality machine based in the price point. I read the manual and personalized the settings for me and I have very little critique. The 2 in 1 portafilter is quality...the water dispenser "top fill" function is good; no need to remove the unit. Frother unit works well...just wish it pulled out a little more...drip tray could be wider as it's a little difficult getting a wide-mouth cup in without taking out the main tray...not a real hassle though. All in all....it's a 9.5 in my opinion. Functions are great...easy to understand and makes a great expresso, americano, latte and variable of each 👍👍 Great deal for the price!

Read the manual directions thoroughly to make the perfect cup.
Color: Sterling Silver
I’ve been using this machine daily for 9 weeks. I absolutely love it! It’s easy and delicious. It took about 90 minutes to thoroughly read the manual which was very helpful in making the perfect pressure crema. The machine quality is good. If it lasts several years I’ll rate it fantastic. That is tbd. It is a great value for the money and aesthetically pleasant sitting on the countertop. Love it!

Great value
Color: Sterling Silver
Nice machine. Makes great espresso and steam wand works well and heats up fast. Just wish the porta filter was made better with wire clip to hold basket in instead of groove and dimple setup. Used grinds cant be simply tapped out as a single puck. you need to dig them out with a spoon. Not the end of the world but I was spoiled with a Breville Ive used in the past. Still would definitely recommend great unit at this price point. Makes delicious coffee

Time btwn brews
Color: Sterling Silver
Love the sleek look and just the right size for counter top. Makes a great cup and foaming wand is great. Be sure to let first stream of water out before frothing. Definitely need a napkin or towel handy. Only one drawback I can see so far. After making an espresso it takes a bit of time to cool down before it allows you to brew next one. There’s two of us so we need to stagger our espresso making. Espresso could also be a bit hotter. All in all it’s a nice machine and does the job.
