WHAT IS LECA?
Leca is clay is formed into pellets, then kiln-fired at high heat to expand the clay and form lightweight balls. Benefit of these clay balls is that they wick water from the bottom to the top which decreases your chance of forgetting to add water.
Leca gives your plants the water it needs while allowing a lot of. oxygen to reach the roots.
FOR BEST USE
Rinse well leca before use. Option to soak for 24 hours prior to use.
Do not use a pot with drainage holes - use a clear solid container.
Clay pebbles can be used in both hydroponic or aquaponic systems.
