The bright blue color makes it super simple to spot in the couch cushions or on the counter. The sleeve provides protection from the all too common drops that happen everyday. It does make the remote slightly thicker, but that isn't a bad thing. It fits in your hand much better and makes operation easier too. Well worth the price and you get two! Totally recommend these.

Great fit, tether / lanyard probably won't stay on long
A great fit and deal for the money. It's well-balanced in the hand, and makes the remote much less awkward to use. I have two Apple TV's in the house, and the different colors help keep the remotes straight. There's a lanyard that attaches to a small little bit of silicone. Having the lanyard is nice, but it doesn't stay connected because the bit of plastic is so small, it rips even under a small force. It's still completely useful and worth the purchase to me without the lanyard, but if the lanyard is a dealbreaker for you, you may wish to reconsider. I can't imagine it staying on very long in any environment. 2 kids and a cat it lasted about 20 minutes.
