Less than a year after the release of sophomore album Origin and Echo, Snow Palms return with a powerful two-track EP almost 18 minutes of music in total. A-side 'Everything Ascending' sees Snow Palms mainstay David Sheppard's signature pulsing electronics and crystalline glockenspiels augmented by the production, keyboard and compositional skills of Matt Gooderson (Infadels), the vigorous, rhythmic clarinets of Christian Forshaw (Michael Nyman Band, Icebreaker) and the soaring vocal flights of Megan Gooderson. Over ten minutes in length, this is an undulating, inexorably unfurling odyssey, oscillating seamlessly between passages of mesmeric electronic rhythm, choral-enhanced minimalism and gorgeous, gamelan-like ambience. While there may be echoes of Four Tet, Terry Riley, Steve Reich and Midori Takada's Mkwaju Ensemble along the way, ultimately 'Everything Ascending' proffers a uniquely rapturous sonic realm that is pure Snow Palms, predicated, according to Sheppard, on the idea of 'pushing on - striving for optimistic, sunlit uplands, even as the world around us seems to be turning darker. AA-side 'Circling', meanwhile, is a bold orchestral reimagining of one of the highlights from Origin and Echo. The work of fellow Village Green artist and renowned film music arranger/orchestrator Matt Dunkley (Inception, Black Swan, Iron Man), this is a brilliant repositioning of Snow Palms' music in the emotion-soaked cinematic idiom, the original's rich melodic palette and powerful rhythmic undertows beautifully reworked for elaborately layered, potently arranged strings.A: Everything AscendingAA. Good option, especially in warmer weather
Size: 6-10, Color: Black
High quality socks and very durable. Nice touch adding the grip on the back of the ankle so the sock stays up. Size is a true fit to the size of your foot as well.

Love these socks!
Size: 6-10, Color: White
Comfortable, no show, and most importantly The Do No Slip!!!! I keep coming back to add to my supply because they have become the only sock I wear. I’ve been using them for a couple years now and they hold to great to washing, bleaching and the dryer. Highly recommended.

The only socks I will buy
Size: 6-10, Color: Halo Gray/Assorted
These are hands down my favorite socks to wear with tennis shoes. Bought my original 6 pack in the store, liked them so much I went buy more and they were gone. These don't slip on your heel like most socks do. Come up high enough on the top of your foot to protect from tongue rubbing (I giggled when I wrote that) and they come in fun colors. Love they are ultra no show and provide padding but people can't see them with shoes on. Five stars!

Socks
Size: Medium, Color: Black
Amazing socks. Fits Amazing. I tried to buy the six pack and it wasn’t the same. Thinner material. The 3 pack is great. Would buy again if it comes up.

Amazing socks but false advertising. They changed them.
Size: Large, Color: Black (6-pairs)
Okay well I have 4 stars because these are the best socks ever, infact, I threw out all my other socks and switched to just these. No show and they never slip. THE PROBLEM NOW, all the pairs I ordered before had a white symbol, and every time I buy more they have the grey and they are not as low show as my others… I wanted to simplify life and have all the same kind, no matching of colors or slightly different shape, but 4 times now I’ve ordered white symbol and gotten thicker longer ones with gray symbols. I’m considering switching all of my socks to the gray…. But the white symbol ones are way better, they don’t show with hey dudes on and gray symbol ones do now. I’m at a loss. Can someone tell me where to buy 100 pairs of white symbol so I never need to buy another sock again in my life?
