Late 19th century Japanese black lacquer table.A late 19th century Victorian Japanese style black lacquer or ebonised table, with a wavy edged top gilt with a view towards Mount Fuji. A useful and decorative piece that would suit both a classic country house look and a more modern setting. A few expected chips to the edge of the top and to the legs which I haven't restored, just dark waxed as I prefer that lived in look. The landscape scene on top is in good condition. Looks like new screws

A few expected chips to the edge of the top and to the legs which I haven't restored, just dark waxed as I prefer that lived-in look. The landscape scene on top is in good condition. Looks like new screws underneath the legs connecting to the stretcher. Sturdy with no wobbles, woodworm, etc.
