Teachers can bring these interwoven links between letters to life through signaling.  For example, when praciting the letter E, show the learner other places on the poster where "E" or "e" is found.  Talk about the words on the poster where "E" is found.  Over time the Learner will memorize the sentences and sightwords while being able to recognize the sound of the letter with the picture next to the letter - visual aids / scaffolding.
