Wood Sedge is a native shade-loving semi-evergreen grass that forms dense spreading tufts of fine blue-green to green foliage.  Small straw colored spikelets go up in late spring.  Prefers partial sun and well-drained soils.  Drought tolerant.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance. It can be planted in near full sun if the soil is consistently moist but will have less color.  Cut foliage to the ground and remove it in late winter.
