Production Note
Plumpton Estate Brut Reserve is a unique blend of Reisling, Seyval Blanc, Pinot Blanc and Regner. The base wine is fermented in tank, then again in bottle, to capture the bubbles. This award-winning blend of several varieties produces a one-of-a-kind alternative wine, made by the traditional method, but set apart from wines made from the usual Champagne varietals.
Tasting Note
There are notes of yellow plum, pear and apple on the nose, with subtle hints of caramel and brioche. The palate offers balanced acidity with a rich mouthfeel, evolving from toasty to citrus on the finish. It pairs well with fish and poultry dishes, or with rich and nutty desserts.
