Fence tilting is accomplished by a worm gear system, smoothly operated by a simple handwheel. The tables provide 73" long extended support. A non-mar insert in the fence protects the table from scratches during adjustments. The operating switch is mounted high so you can reach it easily, and the push blocks have a magnetic base so they can be stored on any metallic surface for instant access.

What makes the helical cutterhead better?
A helical cutterhead uses multiple carbide inserts to produce smoother cuts with less tear-out and lower noise. It also allows you to rotate inserts instead of replacing full knives, extending tool life.
How often do the tables need adjustment?
The tables are designed to stay aligned with minimal adjustment once properly set up. Occasional checks are recommended, but frequent tuning is typically not needed.
