The Hurlingham Club 1869-1953" is a book written by Captain Taprell Dorling, published in 1953. It chronicles the history of The Hurlingham Club, located in London, from its founding in 1868 to the year of publication, 1953. The book was published by the Hurlingham Club itself.

The Hurlingham Club, founded in the late 1860s, is a prestigious sports and social club known for its Georgian clubhouse, polo grounds, croquet lawns, and tennis courts. It is situated on a 42-acre site alongside the Thames in Fulham, London. The club's history is intertwined with the development of live pigeon shooting and its transformation into a "country resort".

Captain Taprell Dorling, the author, was likely commissioned by the club to document its history for its members and the public. The book provides insights into the club's evolution, its social functions, and its role in sporting activities like polo and croquet. It also likely includes details about the club's architecture, grounds, and notable members.

A timely introduction for classical retrieval
Format: Paperback
Bray has written a very accessible introduction to the attributes of God, with the proper distinctions between God’s essential attributes and his relational attributes. Bray does well in showing the necessity of the essential attributes as the foundation to the manifestation of God’s relational attributes to mankind, firmly anchoring them in the biblical text. I appreciate that he provided glimpses of the historical development of the attributes, interacting with some of the objections to the essential (i.e., classical) attributes and then exposing the reader to some of the best scholarship in response to the objections. The appendix ends the book with an historical survey of the attributes in the Christian tradition. Those unfamiliar with the development of classical theism will be brought up to speed, just enough to see the rich heritage of the classical attributes of God. I will be referring those new to systematic theology or are unfamiliar with the classical doctrine of God to this introductory work. It’s a great read and desperately needed due to the construals of God being promoted in modern theology.

Great addition to my sink!
Color: Black, Color: Black
This is a great sink organizer. I like a place for everything, and to hang up our dish cloth when done using it. We had a suction cup holder for that purpose but it broke several weeks ago. When this came in I noticed the 'washcloth bar' was just as another reviewer noted....pretty useless, unless you find a way to glue it down, so I chose to just toss that piece. We hang the cloth on the front fork piece, but that is also not secure and kept falling off. The simple solution for me was using some electrical tape to secure it. Not even noticeable and now works beautifully. Love the drainage with the sloped bottom, and having a spot for all the little thing we need handy at the sink. Highly recommend!
