Das über Funk steuerbare Trinkwasserventil WaterControl 01 ist zum manuellen oder ferngesteuerten Schließen und Öffnen einer wasserführenden Leitung in Gebäuden, nach einer Ereignismeldung durch die Wassersensoren WaterSensor eco, con oder BWS.

WaterControl 01 besteht aus einem trinkwasserzugelassenen Absperrventil mit Elektromotor und einem Steuergerät mit Netzteil und EnOcean®-Funkmodul.

Für verschiedene Leitungsdurchmesser stehen vier Ausführungen mit entsprechenden Anschlüssen zur Verfügung: Anschlussgewinde G¾, G1, G1¼ und G1½.

Das Absperrventil der wasserführenden Leitung kann auf unterschiedliche Arten geöffnet und geschlossen werden:

  • Absperrventil am Stellhebel mechanisch öffnen/schließen
  • Absperrventil über Tasten am Steuergerät elektrisch öffnen/schließen
  • Absperrventil über Wassersensoren schließen
  • Absperrventil mit EnOcean®-Taster öffnen/schließen
  • Absperrventil über AFRISOhome Gateway und Smartphone öffnen/schließen

Das Steuergerät steht in ständigem Kontakt mit den angelernten Wassersensoren WaterSensor eco, con oder BWS und/oder dem AFRISOhome Gateway. Eine Ereignismeldung wird ausgelöst, sobald eine Leckage von den Wassersensoren erkannt wird, z. B. undichte Haushaltsgeräte oder ein Rohrbruch in einer Wasserleitung. Beispielweise kann mittels WaterControl 01 die Wasserleitung geschlossen werden, um einen weiteren Wasseraustritt zu verhindern.

Das AFRISOhome Gateway überträgt Warnmeldungen und Zustandsänderungen über WLAN oder LAN an die zuständigen Ansprechpartner (z. B. Eigentümer, Hausverwalter, Hausmeister oder Handwerker).

I was a bit disappointed to see that the connections were composite and not brass but I should have been a more careful reader. We shall see how it holds up in the blistering Arizona sun. I love the muted clay red color on my red brick patio.
