* Es sind die rund geschwungenen Griffe, die dieser bauchigen, durchaus großen Schale, Schwung verleihen. In Fortschreibung weicher Außenlinien wird der ansonsten perfekt rund geformte Schalenkorpus dadurch oval - und wirkt elegant wie eine antike Terrine. Bei diesem Entwurf dominiert eindeutig die Form - und doch verrät die weich polierte und zurückhaltend strukturierte Maserung des Schaleninnern die charakteristische Handschrift der Harjes, wie sie die in Sand gegossene Glockenbronze erzeugt. Ein leichter Schlag an den Schalenrand übrigens bringt einen warmen Glockenton zum Klingen.
