Artikelbeschreibung:
DIAKAT B - Plus Spezial-Adsorber auf Eisenhydroxidbasis für die Entfernung von Schadstoffen wie z.B Arsenat, Phosphat, Silikat, aus Teich-, Süß- und Meerwasser.
Schadstoffe werden am Adsorber gebunden und sind nicht mehr eluierbar.
Die behandelten Wässer werden nicht negativ beeinflußt.
Anwendunghinweis für Salzwasser:
- Granulate, die verwirblen, erzeugen einen Abrieb. Deshalb immer Filterwatte am Filterausgang platzieren.
- In salzhaltigen Wässern können Granulate auf Eisenbasis "verbacken", wenn sie längere Zeit mit einer geringen Filtergeschwindigkeit durchspült werden.
- Sicherheitshalber alle 2-3 Tage den Filterbehälter etwas schütteln oder mit mit einer höheren Filtergeschwindigkeit die Granulatkörner kurz aufwirbeln lassen.
- Den Wasserablauf bitte entsorgen, da er Schwebstoffe und Trübstoffe enthalten kann.
- Anaerobe (sauerstoffarme) Zustände im Filterbehälter vermeiden, da sonst unter den reduzierenden Bedingungen Eisen-II-Verbindungen (z.B. Eisensulfid, Eisensulfat, Eisencarbonat) entstehen können.
- Dosierempfehlung: je nach Schadstoffbelastung ca. 30-50 ml DIAKAT B Plus pro 100 Liter Wasser.
- Standzeit von DIAKAT abhängig von Wasserinhaltsstoffen, Fütterungsgewohnheiten, Depots
DIAKAT B kann zur Aufbereitung von Leitungswasser oder Osmosewasser verwendet werden, wenn dieses z.B. Kupfer, Blei, Zink, Phosphat oder Silikat enthält.
Wasser in einen Kannister oder Tank einfüllen und ein Säckchen, gefüllt mit DIAKAT in diesen hängen. Mit einer kleinen Umwälzpumpe/Strömungspumpe dafür sorgen, dass das Wasser in Bewegung bleibt. Nach ein paar Tagen sollte die Konzentration der Wasserinhaltsstoffe deutlich niedriger sein.
Anschließend das Wasser im Behälter oder Tank für einen Tage stehen lassen, damit sich eventuell vorhandener Abrieb oder Trübstoffe absetzen kann. Das Wasser kann nun nach einer Eignungsprüfung verwendet werden.

Temporary relief well worth it.
4 stars only because this has not cleared up my 1 year olds eczema in days like the ads say. It IS a great product though. We have gone through almost 3 jars in a week and a half, the skin just seems to soak it in. It has dramatically improved the inflammation and flaky-ness but unfortunately the deep itch persists. We have safely used it on eyelids. It does have an interesting smell to it, I don't mind it but my 9 year old comments on it every time it's used.
Product works well enough and provides temporary relief that we've purchased other items from the shop.

Helping with dry, itchy eyelids (with this brand’s emollient for eyelids)

Comes with 60 wipes, 20 in each box. Each wipe is individually wrapped and open easily with a tear. They are helping my itchy, dry eyelids. I’ve never really had this issue before but do wear a lot of makeup so I decided to buy these as well as the same brand of emollient for dry eyelids. Together they feel really nice and are helping. The wipes are plenty large and wet enough to really get your eyelids and eye area wiped down. They are soft and thick. I’m using these after removing my makeup before bed just to get them extra clean and give them some sort of treatment because aquaphor alone wasn’t helping.. I can smell the tea tree oil which is pleasant. They don’t burn my sensitive eyes at all.
They have overall good ingredients. Tea tree oil is antibacterial so it acts as a disinfectant and also helps with itchy dry skin, chamomile is soothing, centella is good for not stripping your natural skin barrier which would dry them out more. (I’m thinking this could be my problem and am going to switch makeup removers to one with centella): they also have hyleuronic acid (to attract moisture), glycerin (strengthens skin barrier, softens and is antimicrobial , promotes healing) aloe (soothing and healing), panthenol and vitamin E. The only thing I’m not sure about is the disodium EDTA. It IS used in some eye drops to treat certain conditions but mostly used as a preservative. It can have some negative side effects like irritation. You can look that up for yourself. It’s used in a lot of things and is generally safe. I, personally, will make sure I don’t get any of this IN my eyes though.
If your eyelids are dry, itchy or irritated these are worth giving a try.

A relief!

I've been using the Blink Better Eye Scrubs daily for about a week now, and they've been fantastic. My eyes tend to be pretty sensitive, but these wipes haven't caused any irritation or discomfort at all, which is a huge plus. Even though "tea tree oil" is mentioned, I didn't notice any scent, which I actually prefer.
The wipes themselves are perfectly moist and feel great on the skin. I really appreciate that one side is softer and the other is a bit firmer, so you can choose what you need. The individual packets are also super easy to open, which makes them really convenient for daily use or when I'm on the go.
They do a terrific job of cleaning my eyelids and lashes, and I've even noticed my eyes watering less since I started using them. I think they offer good value for the quality, and I'd absolutely recommend them, especially if you have sensitive eyes. They're definitely worth buying.

Blink Eye Wipes are the Best

My eye doctor recommended a different brand (which I have used) and find these to be just as effective and at a better price. They are very soothing to the eye and a nice treat at the end of the day. They are very soft, with a light & refreshing fragrance.
