In this variant you score extra points with the help of a tableau with bird properties. As soon as you play a bird, you cover the corresponding attribute on the tableau for bonus points. This makes for a challenging game for two, full of tactical choices. But Wingspan: Asia can also be played as an extension of the basic game. In fact, with the extra playing material, an extra-large game can be played with up to 7 players!
