Was sie so besonders macht? Alles.

Sie wird in Italien auf traditionellen Handstrickstühlen gefertigt – und das ist keine romantische Übertreibung, sondern echtes Handwerk, das es nur noch selten gibt. Jeder einzelne Big Plaid ist ein Unikat, mit Liebe gestrickt und mit noch mehr Liebe weitergegeben. Massengefertigt? Niemals. Nachhaltig? Auf ganzer Linie. Wir verwenden ausschließlich Restgarne – das heißt: Jede Farbe ist eine Überraschung. Mal sanft, mal mutig, mal völlig unerwartet. Aber immer wunderschön.

Die Decke selbst? So voluminös und weich, dass man sie eigentlich eher als flauschigen Interior-Mitbewohner bezeichnen sollte. Wer sich einmal reingekuschelt hat, kommt so schnell nicht wieder raus – und will auch nicht. Sie erinnert an einen dicken Teddybär, der beschlossen hat, Designer zu werden.

Kurz gesagt: Big Plaid ist kein Accessoire. Sie ist ein Lebensgefühl.

I love this shelf! It took two people to hang it and you definitely want to ensure you hit a stud on at least one side or 1-2 screws if mounting between studs. It is heavy but a single person can lift it, just not maneuver easily due to its dimensions. It has a ton of room and fits mini helmets nicely in my office. Where I mounted it made it difficult to an extent to install but if you are even somewhat handy, you’ll be fine. You absolutely need a stud finder to hang this shelf. Sorry, I’m married! I would buy this shelf, or versions of it, again. Very practical and useful to display autographs, housewares or decor. Last note: do not over tighten the poles. The wood is soft and the poles are light weight. They are not traditional black pipe and weigh far less.
