Damit kann der Taucher zwischen kleinem und großem Blasenabweiser wechseln. So kann man zwischen einem breiten Blasenabweiser für minimale Störungen durch aufsteigende Blasen (wichtig bei der UW-Fotografie) und einem schmalen Blasenabweiser (=kompakter Atemregler) wählen.
